The Labour Party continues to engage with local people with street stalls, public meetings, open 'surgeries' and, above all, a willingness to meet individuals one-to-one.

Issues of concern are raised at every appropriate level - local, regional and national. The Constituency Party also meets to consider the future, submitting comments on policy and proposals which are relevant to the people of N E Bedfordshire.

Pressure is also brought to bear on other political parties when their policy, proposals and solutions are clearly unsatisfactory.
