The Women's Forum aims to encourage and support women members to take a full and active part in the life of the Party. It sets out to establish and address the particular interests and needs of women in N.E. Beds. All women members are automatically members of the Women's Forum.
The recently appointed local Labour Party's Women's Officer is Cheryl McDonald. She lives in Sandy and is helping re-form a Labour Party Branch for the Sandy/Potton area of the constituency.
Cheryl
is on hand to help all women members and supporters.

BEWARE!
The recent Financial Review/Budget undoubtedly
hit women hardest.
NE Beds Labour Party would like to build a picture of what effects this could have on our members and supporters. Please contact Cheryl McDonald with your views and observations.
Incidentally, are you aware that ..... EQUAL PAY DAY was
2ND NOVEMBER 2010 ..... women working full-time are still paid on average 16.4% less per hour than men ..... so they work for free from that date onwards until the end of the year??
